Crow, 46, has established himself in the Texas-Oklahoma-Lousiana-European music scene over the past 25 years.
Beginning his fiddling at the age of four, while resting in his Grandad's lap, Crow has continued his musical interest
through the violin with a background in classical music, earning him a seat as the youngest violinist in the Oklahoma City Symphony.
His love for cajun, country and rock-a-billy music expanded his venues. His normal touring circuit includes all of Texas and it's
neighboring states. Crow also ventures as far as Washington D.C., New York City as well as England, France and Germany. His tour through
New York earned him support from New York Times journalist, John Rockwell, who listed alvin's as one of the best shows of the year.
Now with eight albums, Crow has attracted the notice of media from all over the world. The BBC recently
filmed Alvin for a segment in their special on the history of fiddle music. The New York Times praises him
as "the finest flower of Austin's club and concert scene." Rolling Stone states:
"It's Bob Wills reincarnated! Well, maybe not quite, but Alvin Crow does fine at being Alvin Crowe
[with a] fiddle screaming joy!"
